The Velorex UK Tour is our most versatile sidecar offering excellent comfort and weather protection. The large wrap round screen hinges up and out of the way allowing the passenger to easily step into the sidecar. Very few sidecar are as easy to get in to as the Velorex UK Tour.
The original body shape was designed with the aid of a wind tunnel, so it cuts the air cleanly reducing noise levels compared to most other sidecars.
Behind the supportive high back seat there is a generous 90 litre lockable luggage area .
The Tour is supplied as standard with the full weather cover which can be fitted and removed in under a minute making it practical for those days when you just can not predict the weather. The weather cover stores in the luggage area when not in use, although if this is full of other things we know owners that keep it handy on the floor in front of the seat.
As with all the Velorex UK sidecar range the Tour is built on a strong durable chassis made from cold drawn seamless tubing, a braced swing arm with 20 mm axle, triple bearing wheel, and a fully damped coil spring shock absorber.
Suitable motorcycles include but are not limited to, Jawa 350 OHC, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Moto Guzzi 1100 California, Triumph Scrambler, most British bikes and many Japanese cruisers. There are many many more, but this list should give an idea of the type of traditional frame needed for simple fitment.
